We bring more than 30 years of creative experience working in the industry and have created everything from company logos, stationery and branded items such as clothing, vehicle graphics, signage and bespoke promotional items to online social media graphics, corporate brand strategies and national marketing campaigns. We maintain excellent relationships with a network of trusted manufacturers and suppliers allowing us to manage every aspect of the creative process from initial concepts to delivery of your designs, products, packaging and literature.

Mike Land
Mike is a passionate and talented creative with many years’ experience in the design industry. He has worked for a wide range of clients from different sectors, including some well-known brands such as Texaco, Tie Rack, Battersea Dogs Home and De Vere Hotels.
He started his career as an artist for a local newspaper, getting his hands dirty in the lost art of paste-up, before finally getting to grips with an Apple. After a small stint in repro-graphics, Mike eventually got his big break with a small design agency in Cirencester. Over the years, he has worked with and learned from some very talented individuals – from former work colleagues to an ex-Saatchi & Saatchi design guru.
Away from the office, Mike is something of a fitness fanatic who enjoys running, cycling, swimming or when he’s feeling particularly masochistic, combining all three for a triathlon. His medal display is a visual reminder of his dedication, focus, and passion to everything he turns his hand to, and hangs proudly in the Nickel Design office.
Richard Mayneord
Richard is still as enthusiastic for graphic design as he was when he qualified nearly 30 years ago. He brings a wealth of experience over a long and varied career in the design industry, working in a variety of different sectors.
Upon graduating he started working in the print industry in the early ’90’s before moving on and working for several design agencies. He has also spent 10 years managing the design and marketing department for a successful travel company.
When he’s not sat at his Apple Mac in the Nickel Design office, he can often be found running around the hills and trails of the Wiltshire countryside. A keen ultra-runner, he has taken part in many iconic ultra marathons such as the non-stop 100 mile Arc of Attrition along the Cornish coastline in the middle of winter, the Transvulcania World Series Sky Race in La Palma, Canary Islands and the 3-day, 136 mile Ring o’ Fire Ultra Marathon in Wales. Aside from running, Richard also has a very keen interest in travel and photography, having visited close to 50 countries so far. His favourite? He says “Probably Argentina.”
